Since 1997, Gaorong has been practising "Migrating Planting"
by building farms in different latitude belts across China
and planting products suitable for local climates and geographies
in order to maximize production and ensure continuous supply
all year round. Gaorong has set up several farms and processing
facilities in Jilin Province, city of Shanghai, Jiangsu Province,
Zhejiang Province and Fujian Province, creating jobs for thousands
of farmers in these areas and helping rural areas developing
export-oriented planting industry. Due to its tremendous achievements,
Gaorong was granted the title of "National Garden-Product
Export Leader" by China's Agriculture Ministry and Commerce
Ministry in 2001.

planting techniques and hires Japanese agricultural experts

team predicts the ebb and flow of demands in different markets
and adopts flexible marketing strategies. Gaorong's products
have successfully entered the biggest supermarkets and wholesale
markets in Japan and Southeast Asia. In 2003, Gaorong starts
to aim at the Chinese domestic market. Gaorong's farms located
in the city of Shanghai and Jiangsu Province, along with its
Fengxian processing facility and its complete cold chain management
system, enable Gaorong to distribute and supply fresh products
to the markets of Shanghai and its surrounding areas promptly.
In May 2003, Gaorong set up its fresh food chain stores in
Shanghai, thus completed the chain from growing to retailing
its own products in the vicinity of Shanghai. |
